Aminaah quickly shook the Deputy Director's hand and headed back to her seat as her classmates looked on in astonishment and amazement. Now, her classmates were looking at her with a newfound admiration.
The same year, Aminaah received a scholarship funded by NASA and went ahead to study quantum physics at Alabama State University. It was only a matter of time before she could apply to work as an astronaut.
